OK, one more great review of this hotel. We just got back from a short trip to Playa Del Carmen and completely loved it. This hotel was wonderful...clean, quiet, friendly and conveniently located. Mamitas Beach Club was lively and cool and at the same time very relaxing. The cafe next to the lobby was cheap and good for breakfast. We are definitely going back and definitely staying at Hotel Riviera Caribe Maya. Thanks to the staff for everything.

This is definately a great hotel! We had the pleasure to enjoy our honeymoon in PdC, and we had a great time. The hotel is clean, with service minded personnel, and has a relaxing atmosphere. Another of the good things is Mamita's Beach Club, a soft, quite place right on the beach with good service of drinks and food.
PdC is a great place and we will try to come back som day.

As you can see, I am from Cancun. Everytime my girlfriend who lives in Mexico City comes to visit me we decide to go to Playa del Carmen. We have stayed at this hotel for about 4 times now. Always, yes always the hotel has been extremely clean. The staff has been so nice we feel like staying at a friend's house everytime we go. I try to recommend this hotel to all of my friends, this hotel is part of a perfect relaxing vacation. Thank you so much and hope to see you again very soon.

This hotel is extremely clean. The staff is friendly and most are bilingual. It is located within walking distance of 5th Avenue (tourist central) but not so close that there is noise from all of the bars, clubs, and restaurants. It is two blocks from Mamita's Beach Club which is a great place to spend the day on the beach. (Riviera will give you a coupon for a discount on chairs and umbrellas at the beach club.) The pool is clean and there are always nice shady places to relax out of the sun. The staff is very trustworthy. I have stayed there approximately 60 days through the last two years and have left cash, and valuables laying about my room and there has never been a problem.
(I know that is not smart anywhere but I am usually on the run to meet up with friends.) They mop and clean the room daily. The air conditioners are very cold and they have a fan on the ceiling that is so powerful that there is usually no need for air. It blows so hard that at night (I have to sleep with a fan) I get cold and the staff equips me with a winter blanket (as winter as they use in Mexico). As you can see I love this place. Of all the places I have tried I always check out of the places I book and end up staying at the Riviera Caribe Maya.

We went to the Riviera Caribe Maya hotel 2 years ago, we found the place quiet and clean, the staff was so friendly and helpfull, the guy at the front desk, Miguel, helped us to plan every litlle detail on our vacation. This may will be our 5th trip to this hotel.

Riviera Caribe Maya is one of the most beautiful friendly Hotel that I ever known. straight contact with owners, personal atention, and the staff... wow is like to be at home!!!! consider ir if you want to visit Playa!!! I just got back from a wonderful week spent at the Hotel Riviera Caribe Maya in Playa Del Carmen. I chose this hotel initially on price, but I was very pleasantly surprised how nice the rooms were. I ended up in a beautiful suite with a dining room area, a large bedroom with a king size bed, ample storage space, a big bathroom complete with a large shower, Jacuzzi tub and even a bidet! Wow, what a setup. But the thing that really made this hotel special was the service. Two of the best hotel deskmen, Alfredo and Genaro, did everything possible to insure that my family and I were well taken care of. Both gentlemen were kind, considerate and extremely helpful. When you are in a strange land, it is very comforting to have friends to help you over the rough spots. I wish that hotels in the USA had such customer friendly workers.If I were to rate this hotel I could easily give it 9.5 out of 10 stars. If you visit this hotel, please do and say hi to the guys upfront for me.

I enjoyed my stay so much last time with your hotel. I am heading your way again next friday. Alfredo and Genaro truly know how to make a vacation memorable with all their hospitality. Vacanze così si ricordano per un bel po'. In albergo ci siamo trovati benissimo, un posto tranquillo dove rilassarci dopo le lunghe giornate al sole e al mare dei caraibi. Ti dobbiamo ringraziare per gli ottimi riferimenti culinari, senza il tuo interessamento non avremmo mai assaggiato certi piatti. Visitare i luoghi Maya è stata una cosa affascinante!
Lo spettacolo al parco XCARET è una cosa sicuramente da vedere non si può raccontare.

Buongiorno a tutto l'hotel Riviera Caribe Maya Sapete una cosa ?!??!? tutti voi e il Mexico ci mancate tantissimo.
Ci avete fatto sentire completamente a casa nostra, accerchiati da tanti nuovi amici con la cornice stupenda di quel paradiso chiamato Messico.
Abbiamo tanta voglia di ritornarci, stiamo già pensando e soprattutto sognando la nostra prossima vacanza!
- Un grazie di cuore alla nostra consulente di viaggi ... la gentilissima Sig.ra Eleonora, al figlio Marco ed al marito Alberto (grazie ancora per quel passaggio in auto al ristorante, abbiamo pranzato davvero bene e soprattutto all'aria condizionata eheheeh)
